The Intuitive Defensive® Shooting Program is an Intuitive shooting program designed to help the student be more Efficient with a defensive firearm in the context of a Dynamic Critical Incident.
The Human Operating System (HOS) Optimization
IDSis not a "shooting" clinic—it is a laboratory for your central nervous system. We move past the aesthetics of the flat range and begin the clinical process of aligning your defensive skills with the biological realities of a Dynamic Critical Incident. The Curriculum Includes:
The Startle-to-Stimulus Bridge: We don’t fight the body’s natural startle reaction; we weaponize it. Learn to use the physiological "flinch" as the automated launch sequence for your presentation from the holster.
Foveal Anchoring & The Quiet Eye: Utilizing Force Science research on visual behavior, we move beyond "front sight focus" to Perception-Action Coupling. You will learn to anchor your gaze on threat cues while your motor system handles the hardware.
